What is a Naturopath?
A Naturopath uses herbal medicine, nutrition, supplements and dietary changes
to restore the body’s innate healing potential.
Naturopathy is valuable in treating conditions such as:
- Fertility issues
- Menopause and hormonal problems
- Fatigue
- Allergies and poor immunity
- Skin conditions
- Recurrent infections and poor immunity
- Digestive & bowel problems
- Chronic conditions that are not responding to allopathic medicine
- Children's health issues
- Anxiety and depression
What to expect from a consultation with a naturopath?
After completing a comprehensive health evaluation. You and your Naturopath
have a discussion of your health history, lifestyle, diet and personal goals.
Your practitioner may perform some non-invasive test including a
VLA to assess
body composition. Once we have a clear picture of your health, you will receive
a detailed report on your health evaluation; and a comprehensive take home
treatment plan including diet, herbs, supplements and lifestyle recommendations.
How often should I see a Naturopath?
In the first few months, regular visits every 1-4 weeks depending on your
circumstances, helps you stay on track and discuss any issues that arise with
your treatment plan. Once you reach your health goals, we recommend a follow-up
visit every 6 months to review your nutrition and supplements, so they can be
changed accordingly.
